(第三课时 教学设计)

 

一、教材分析

1. 教学内容

本课时系教材《英语2》(基础模块 高教版)第八单元的第三课时,授课内容为课本Language in use, Vocabulary practice and Fun time部分,具体包括:Grammar focus, Vocabulary practice and Sound practice

本课时内容是对本单元所涉及语法内容和重点词汇知识的总结和回顾,有助于学生理清思路,对单元知识及其运用情境有清晰的认识。由于在前两个课时的教学中,教师已经涉及和渗透Vocabulary practice部分内容,因此教师可以删略已经呈现过的活动安排,更侧重于训练学生对所学知识的综合运用能力。

2.教学重点、难点

教学重点

学生总结本单元关于网络的关键句型及其运用情境,并能理解和运用条件状语基本用法

教学难点

句子连读的技巧

学生能在具体情境中运用本单元所学知识。

 

二、教学目标

1.       知识目标

学生能理解并掌握条件状语从句的基本用法。

学生能掌握句子连读的技巧

2.       能力目标

学生具备通过网络简单英语交流的能力。

学生能用条件状语从句在真实语境中运用。

(3)学生掌握正确的句子连读技巧。

3.       情感目标

学生能正确处理互联网与学习的关系。

 

三、教学步骤

Step One  Revision: Dubbing performance 10 min

Teacher plays one short soundless movie about dialogues between two persons, a customer and a salesperson at a computer store. Students watch it, think about what they are talking, and add dialogues for the movie with partners together.

Students act the short movie in a group with 4 members. After 5 minutes’ preparation, they perform it on the stage. The best performer is praised by teacher orally.

    设计意图: 该步骤有助于学生对本单元知识进行总结回顾,并在真实情境中运用。无声电影导入的形式新鲜有趣。为电影配音有难度,但前三个课时的学习为学生完成任务奠定了基础。

 

Step Two Language in use (Activity 13, 14, 15)  ( 15 min)

1. I have a daydream  5 min

    Teacher shows a picture of a girl, and she is having a daydream. “What would I do if I have a ten-day holiday?” Then teacher shows the pictures of the following expressions on the screen, with the English expression beside each picture: sleep, play computer games, go shopping. “I would have a nice sleep if I have a ten-day holiday. I would play computer games if I have a ten-day holiday. I would go shopping if I have a ten-day holiday

Meanwhile, teacher writes down the useful sentences on the blackboard.

Then students read the sentences together.

 (设计意图:该步骤有助于学生理解条件状语从句的基本用法。通过图片的形式介绍句型,学生较感兴趣且易于理解,)

 

2. Imaginative game: Let’s decorate our classroom! 7 min

Teacher says, “What’s our classroom like? Please decorate it with the sentences on the blackboard. You may talk about it with your partner first. Then everybody gives me a sentence one by one. ”

Students decorate the classroom with partners first, then stand up and cycle the sentences on the blackboard one by one quickly.

设计意图:让学生利用想象力用条件状语从句来装饰我们的教室,该步骤有助于学生掌握黑板上的关键句型。大量的实际情境中的操练,能使学生对句型的运用场合有更加深刻的认识。接龙回答的形式赋予活动适当的紧张度,更能抓住学生的注意力。

 

3. Activity 13. Match the sentence. (3 min)

Students look at the sentences in this part first, then finish the exercises individually. Answers are checked together.

Six students come to the stage and write down the sentences on the blackboard as a model.

设计意图:该步骤有助于学生进一步掌握和运用条件状语从句句型。书写的过程中,教师更容易发现学生存在的问题并予以纠正。

 

Step Three Vocabulary Practice Activity 16, 17,18)(10 min

1. Game: Let’s find friends! (5 min)

Teacher shows 7 verbs on the screen, then gives students 7 nouns. Ask students to match the verbs to the correct nouns. The class is divided into four groups, and there is a competition among them. Each group will be given 10 scores at first, then a right answer brings one more score, and a wrong answer will make them lose one score. The student who hands up first answers the question for his group.

设计意图:这是Activity16的练习,通过游戏的形式能帮助学生掌握动词词组的固定搭配。因为各组之间的竞赛,学生不得不聚精会神地投入其中,这使得活动更具效果。各组之间的竞赛将使活动更加刺激。)

Then students read the expressions after the teacher three or more times. If they cannot remember the expressions well, teacher can use different ways to help them. Here are some suggestions.

1)  Teacher tells the words in Chinese, and students tell the English edition together.

2)  Teacher tells the words in Chinese, and students tell the English edition individually.

3)  Teacher tells the words in English and students tell the Chinese edition individually.

(设计意图:以上三个活动都有助于学生获得词汇记忆的策略之一 —— 分类记忆法。)

 

2. Activity 18 Bingo!  (5min)

Teacher explains the rules: There is an e-mail with some missing words in Activity 18. Ask students to complete the e-mail with the words in the box. If you get right answer, you say Bingo. Let’s see which group gets the most Bingo. I wish you good luck!

(设计意图:该步骤使得填词活动更加有趣和有针对性,因为学生会更加仔细地听老师讲评,以核对自己是否Bingo。教师通过这项活动让学生关注关于上网的重点词汇和语句,也是一个单元重点词汇的复习。)

  

Step Four Fun time

Listen and repeat  (3 min)

Students murmur the conversation after the tape in the first time. In the second time students read after the tape loudly and pay special attention to the linking of sounds.

设计意图:该步骤有助于学生通过跟读,掌握正确的连读技巧。同时,通过朗读找到需要连读的地方,使学生掌握一些语音技巧, 提高英语朗读水平

 

Step Five Self check  (1 min)

Students check what they have learnt by ticking the items on Page 139.

设计意图:该步骤有助于学生自主检测其本单元知识的掌握情况,在脑海中就单元知识及其运用情境形成系统的概念。)

 

Step Five Homework  (1 min)

Students finish all exercises in workbook and get ready for dictation.

设计意图:该步骤有助于学生拓展单元知识,提高综合语言运用能力。)

 

四、板书设计

 

Useful sentences                      

I would have a nice sleep if I have a ten-day holiday.

I would play computer games if I have a ten-day holiday.
