Unit 7 What’s the date of the field trip?

(第四课时 教学设计

一、教材分析

1.教学内容

本课时系教材《英语1》(基础模块 高教版)第七单元的第四课时,包括Unit taskself-check,具体内容为:复习巩固本单元所学内容和单元任务。

2.教学重点、难点

教学重点

     词汇、语法、单元任务总复习。

教学难点

     单元任务。

 

二、教学目标

1.       知识目标

星期、日期、活动类相关词汇或短语

⑵熟练掌握询问日期、星期的句型。

(3)运用所学知识完成安排表的制作。

2.       能力目标

(1)    学生能用准确询问星期、日期并能准确的回答。

(2)    熟练拼写重点词汇。

3.       情感目标

让学生在学习日程安排的过程里,了解西方的一些文化,发现中西方在制定计划时的不同点。并在学会制定计划时学会如何提高工作效率。

 

三、教学步骤

Step 1 Lead-in

1.       Greeting.

2.       Revision.

Ask them the following questions to revise the words.

1)      The _________ month is _________.

2)      The _________day of a week is ________.

3)      _________(date) is ______ (festival).

See who is the quickest to react.

(设计意图:通过这一活动能帮助学生对于本单元重点词汇进行一个全面的复习并能检查的掌握情概况。)

 

Step 2 Unit task

      Ask the students to make a schedule for the school’s art and cultural festival.

1.       Ask the students: “Do you have art and culture festival in your school?” “What activities are there?” Brainstorm the activities that may be held. 

Field trip; speech contest; handwriting contest; singing contest; art contest; basketball match; vocabulary contest. Write down the activities the students mentioned.

Ask them the question: “What activities do you want to have in your art and cultural festival?” Talk about it with the students.

 

2.       Have the students fill in the form with the activities they would like to have in an art and cultural festival.

     (设计意图:让学生自己决定艺术节的活动可以增强学生参与活动的兴趣。)

3.       Ask the students what should be considered while arrange the festival. (time & place)

Have the students mark the available time in the form in step 2.

 

    4.  Have the students fill in the form in step 4. The teacher should walk around the classroom to see if they need any help.

      (设计意图:帮助学生亲自制定计划安排表,帮助学生学习怎样更好的安排一件事情。也为后面的活动做好最后的准备。)

4.       Say: “Suppose you are the director of the art and you are supposed to tell us something about your festival. Now you are here to answer questions about your festival” Ask the student to the front and the other students ask questions. They may use the following questions to help them:

1)      What activities are there?

2)      What is the date of the …?

3)      What time will it be held?

4)      What day is it?

     (设计意图:帮助学生回忆本单元当中所学习的重要的句型。训练学生的口头表达能力。)

 

Step3 Self-check

       Go through what is there in self-check with the students as a whole. Allow the students

to review the words and sentences. Have a dictation and ask them to evaluate

themselves.

(设计意图:让学生对本单元所学的内容的效果进行自测能够让学生发现自己在学习当中所存在的问题,提高学生的学习积极性。同时有助于他们总结自己的学习经验。)

 

Step4 homework

1)      Fun time

2)      Review what they have learnt in this unit.

 

四、板书设计

Field trip; speech contest; handwriting contest; singing contest; art contest; basketball match; vocabulary contest. Write down the activities the students mentioned.
